Harian Metro: Malaysia's Leading Malay-Language Tabloid

Harian Metro is a prominent Malaysian daily newspaper, widely recognized for its significant influence in the country’s media landscape. First launched in March 1991, it was Malaysia’s first afternoon Malay-language tabloid, setting it apart from other newspapers that typically published in the morning. Based in the Klang Valley, Harian Metro quickly became a popular choice among readers for its tabloid format, which offered a more engaging and dynamic presentation of news.

Over the years, Harian Metro has adjusted its content to cater to changing reader demographics. It shifted its focus to appeal to a younger audience interested in entertainment, lifestyle, shopping, and current events, reflecting the evolving tastes of urban readers.
