General secretaryship of Xi Jinping → ? – From what I can tell, "General secretaryship of Xi Jinping" is completely a Wikipedia invention. I've not been able to find sources that call his tenure "general secretaryship" (which itself seems to be a pretty uncommon term). I'd also like to find some consensus on what the articles on tenures of Chinese leaderships (and perhaps other Communist leaders) should be called. The Account 2 (talk) 20:36, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- Move to Xi Jinping as General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party - Unless there's some shorter form of the title, this in line with consensus/precedent emerging in a handful of moves last year such as Keir Starmer as Leader of the Opposition and Kamala Harris as Attorney General of California. estar8806 (talk) ★ 02:51, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- No need to move. Refer to "General secretaryship of Mikhail Gorbachev" --219.76.38.51 (talk) 05:30, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- That also seems to be a Wikipedia invention. The Account 2 (talk) 07:53, 24 October 2025 (UTC)

- Comment: How about Xi Jinping administration (currently a redirect)? I've seen that terminology in sources before. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 17:06, 25 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support this, agree this page name is a bit weird. People undoubtedly use Biden administration or Trump administration. -- Eraserhead1 <talk> 12:19, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- People also use Presidency of Biden and Presidency of Trump instead of Biden administration or Trump administration. --115.160.146.226 (talk) 05:50, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

- Oppose. "General secretaryship" is most certainly a recognised term. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:56, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
