"Horwitz Attack"

According to just about every publication before 2010, the "Horwitz Attack" is 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.Nxd5 Qh4 5.Nb5 in the Scotch. The name only started getting applied to 1.e4 e6 2.b3 after the rise of chess.com etc, and only on the internet. We do not encourage "internet names" at WikiProject chess, only names that regularly appear in reliable sources. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 05:09, 7 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
