Talk:European Committee of the Regions

Wasent Poland supposed to reduce its number of seats to a proportional population percentage in relation to France Germany and the UK??? These numbers look outdated!

Wrong. You should bring some sources to go into details. --peyerk (talk) 07:00, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:CoR logo.svg

[edit]

Image:CoR logo.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

European Alliance

[edit]

One of the four political groups in the Committee of the Regions is UEN-EA. EA stands for European Alliance, but what does it stand for? We should have an article about European Alliance, but I don't know where to start from. --Checco (talk) 13:58, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

By what does 'it' stand for, do you mean UEN? If so, see the political groups page. As for where to start, well what's the source for this? We need to know what parties are in it. Not sure about an independent page for European Alliance, that would depend on its nature. Sounds like an offshoot, could just have a sub section on the UEN page.- J Logan t: 20:41, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Advertisment, appropriate style

[edit]

I remove these templates as they are not justified on this talk page. --peyerk (talk) 07:00, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Change of Name

[edit]

I have moved the article, since the official name of the institution has been changed to "European Committee of the Regions". dimi_z (talk) 10:09, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
