Maybe I'm just bad at comprehension, but I lack a description of what the _endpoint_ actually is. Most of the occurrences of the word _endpoint_ in the article are in _endpoint security_, but there are also mentions of the _endpoint_ itself, e.g.:
In addition to protecting an organization's endpoints from potential threats ...
I guess these are the PCs, cell phones and similar devices of the users of the network (i.e. not servers) but I wish this was explained (or perhaps linked to other relevant article).
Following the comment above about corporate-BS speak, while I skimmed the article, it is missing a lot of links and references
