where does "cooperative" come from?
[edit]I would like to launch a debate on the origin of the name "cooperative storage cloud". Indeed, aren't we more talking about centralized vs decentralized cloud storage and therefore shouldn't we name this article "decentralized cloud storage"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Environemenz (talk • contribs) 21:11, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Suggested further reading: node‑server communication in cooperative storage clouds
[edit]Hello! I came across a detailed article about node-server communication in cooperative storage clouds, which seems relevant to the topic discussed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooperative_storage_cloud. It provides an overview of how nodes interact with a central server and manage distributed storage contributions. The article might be a useful reference for further reading: [1]. Editors may review it to see if it fits appropriately in the “Further reading” or “External links” section. Skye Ava (talk) 14:41, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
