Deletion?

The proposal to delete this article mystifies me. Must be a mistake. Just read the article. While it is not (yet) as fully developed as it could be, clearly the subject is notable. He has articles on his accomplishments, cited here, in AllMusic and All About Jazz. Just look at the discography posted here alone: over 140 albums!
