Social effects section

The current social effects section is pretty problematic. The first paragraph looks like original research and reads more like an instruction manual than a dispassionate encyclopedia article. It doesn't address social effects at all. Would anyone object to removing this section? At the least it needs a ground-up rewrite from sources. Railfan23 (talk) 18:42, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
