Comments
[edit]- Overall comparing this to the FA 1924 Rose Bowl there's no comparison of how the team's were selected. also no real aftermath section, ie how the teams did in the next seasons and when their next bowl games were.
- quarterback Chase Garbers in the first quarter and held their 7–0 lead until a rushing touchdown by TCU running back link qb and rb
- placekicker link it
- This tied it it → the game
- the Pac-12 Conference and the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference can you explain "Pac-12 Conference" and "Big 12 Conference" in commas, ie "the Pac-12 Conference, composed of [], and the TCU Horned Frogs from the Big 12 Conference, composed of []"
- Ref 1 needs an ndash instead of a hyphen for the year range
- The matchup was finalized on December 2, 2018. what does this mean?
- They opened their season with three straight wins and were ranked No. 24 in the AP Poll released on September 23, 2018. can you explain what the AP Poll is?
- The following week, they lost to No. 24 Oregon can you explain where Cal was ranked when they faced Oregon?
- wait, didn't the teams have to have had won a certain number of games before they could be considered bowl eligible? I think that needs explaining.
- Texas. was Texas ranked?
- explain point spread and over-under briefly
- briefly explain the coin toss and how it affects who gets possession.
- can you address the better source needed tag?
- the first hyphen in ref 17 needs to be an ndash
- Cal three-and-out please link and explain three and out
- TCU won the overtime coin toss and opted to play defense first the overtime rules need a sentence or two of explanation
- The game attendance is never cited anywhere
- TCU running back Sewo Olonilua was named offensive MVP, and California safety Jaylinn Hawkins was named defensive MVP were these actual awards given after the game? Can you clarify? Also I think you should spell out MVP on the first mention.
- ref 15 change hyphen to an ndash
- The newspapers.com refs really aren't open access, they're just free to view. so remove the open access templates.
