2d Squadron reflagged as 2d Squadron?

My question relates to this statement in the article:

The 2nd Squadron was reflagged as the 2nd Cavalry squadron in June 2006.

What does this mean exactly? I believe this means 2-14CAV was reflagged as 2-something else CAV, but there is no additional information indicating what regiment it was reflagged to.Kintrix (talk) 07:25, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
