Susahab (Persian: سوسهاب)[a] is a village in Khanandabil-e Gharbi Rural District[4] of the Central District in Khalkhal County, Ardabil province, Iran.
Etymology
[edit]It is believed that this name is due to the many springs there, the most important of which are Turkan Bolaghi, Soyuq Bolagh, Dash Bolagh, and Qani Bolagh.[citation needed]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 530 in 126 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 552 people in 166 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 434 people in 151 households.[2]
Tourist attractions
[edit]Because of its original nature, Susahab is an important tourist destination. Agh Dagh is Khalkhal's highest mountain at 3,321 meters. It is a popular choice for climbing.[citation needed]
