Shabana Azeez
Shabana Azeez is an Australian actress and voice actor. She has starred in many Australian films and TV series, becoming known internationally for her role as medical student Victoria Javadi on the 2025 medical drama The Pitt.
Early life and education
[edit]Shabana Azeez was born in Australia to Fijian and Indian parents.[1] She was educated at St Aloysius College, an all-girls Catholic school in Adelaide, South Australia, from 2002 until 2014. She was a member of the senior debating team and the choir.[2]
She then undertook a Bachelor of Arts and Media double degree at the University of Adelaide.[2]
Career
[edit]Azeez was also in the live comedy duo "The Coconuts" with Leela Varghese, from 2019 to 2024.[3][better source needed]
She starred in Birdeater, a 2023 Australian psychological thriller, and voiced the main character in Lesbian Space Princess, a 2025 animated absurdist comedy film.[4][5]
In 2025 Azeez starred as medical student Victoria Javadi on the medical drama series The Pitt.[6][7][4]
