The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is an upcoming Android-based tri-folding smartphone that was officially announced by Samsung Electronics on December 1st, 2025 in the form of a news article.[1] The phone is set to be released on December 12, 2025 with a U.S availability in Q1 2026.[1]
Hardware

[edit]The Galaxy Z TriFold will come with 16 GB of RAM for both models.[2] The phone will come in two storage options, having either 512 GB internal storage or 1 TB of internal storage.[3]
Displays
[edit]The Galaxy Z TriFold features two Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz displays, one of which is tri-foldable[2], and now adopts a 4:3 aspect ratio when unfolded.
When unfolded, the phone is 10.0 inches with a screen resolution of 1584×2160, and measures approximately 159.2 × 75 × 3.9-4.2 mm.[2] When folded, the phone will be 6.5 inches with a screen resolution of 1080×2520, measuring approximately 159.2 × 75 × 12.9 mm. [2]
Battery
[edit]The battery of the Galaxy Z TriFold will be 5600 mAh which is the largest battery capacity seen on a foldable Samsung phone.[2] The phone will have a 45W wired charging, which is also new for foldable Samsung phones.[2] Samsung claims the phone can charge in around 30 minutes with a 45W cable.[1] The phone also supports 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.[2]
