The Eurovision Song Contest (French: Concours Eurovision de la chanson), often known simply as Eurovision, is an international song competition organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) among its members since 1956. Each participating broadcaster submits an original song representing its country to be performed and broadcast live to all of them via the Eurovision and Euroradio networks, and then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine a winner. "Eu cred" (English: "I believe") is a song recorded by Romanian singer Mălina Olinescu. It was recorded at the TVR Music Studio in Bucharest, and was released as a CD single in 1998 by Mega Music in Romania. The release also contained "You Live", the English-language version of the song. "Eu cred" was written by Liliana Ștefan, while production was handled by Adrian Romcescu [ro]. (Full article...)

The Eurovision Song Contest 1958, originally known as the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson Européenne 1958 (English: Grand Prix of the Eurovision Song Contest 1958), was the third edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, held on Wednesday 12 March 1958 at the AVRO Studios in Hilversum, the Netherlands, and presented by Hannie Lips. It was organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Nederlandse Televisie Stichting (NTS). This marked the first time that the contest was hosted by the preceding year's winning broadcaster, a tradition that has been continued, with some exceptions, ever since. (Full article...)
