Patrick Marino is an American businessman, real estate investor, film producer and media executive. He serves as the chairman and chief executive officer of M Group Companies.[1] Marino is also a principal and co-owner of Action Park Media, a content creation company he runs alongside actor and filmmaker Kevin Connolly.[2][3][4]

Early life and education

Marino is a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina native[5] and earned a degree from Coastal Carolina University. Both of his parents were involved in the real estate brokerage business, and he credits his father, Michael Marino, with inspiring his professional ethos.[citation needed]

Marino has been active as a value-add investor and diversified real estate developer with M Group Companies.[6] His real estate portfolio has consisted of commercial, multi-family, industrial, and residential properties.[6]

Marino is also the co-founder of Rentylcore, a real estate investment firm that operates build-to-rent and multifamily communities in the Southeastern United States.[1][4]

Media ventures

In recent years, Marino co-founded Action Park Media (APM), a production company focused on podcasts, television, and film, with actor and filmmaker Kevin Connolly.[2]  While Connolly oversees creative direction, Marino provides operational and business leadership for the company.[4] As part of Action Park Media, Marino negotiated a multi-year exclusivity deal with PodcastOne[citation needed] and a media partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame.[2] He also helped produce the podcasts Victory: The Podcast, hosted by Kevin Connolly and Doug Ellin, No Gruffs Given, hosted by Sean Avery.[citation needed]

Marino executive produced the feature-length horror film Lice, which was filmed in 2025 and stars Emile Hirsch, Justin Long, and Kevin Connolly.[7][8] Marino is also producing an upcoming docuseries on the Pro Football Hall of Fame directed by Steve James.[citation needed]

Other ventures

Marino helped bring in title sponsor OneFlight to the Myrtle Beach Classic, a PGA Tour golf tournament. He also serves on the board of the Procore Championship in Napa Valley, California.[citation needed]

Personal life

Marino resides in Boca Raton, Florida. He is a golf enthusiast.[5]
