P. Rajarathnam is an Indian politician and a former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Tamil Nadu.

He is a native of Padalur village in the Perambalur district. Rajarathnam holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) and a Bachelor of Laws (B.L.) degree. He belongs to the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) party. He successfully contested the 2001 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election from the Perambalur Assembly constituency and became an MLA of Tamil Nadu.[1]
