Offuman is a town in the Bono East Region of Ghana.^[1] Offuman is in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region of Ghana, in northwastern part of Techiman, 21 kilometers from Tuobodom and 13 km southwest of Wenchi. Offuman has a population of 8,277. Asona Royal are the pioneers and the founder of Offuman's Land. Dikro Nana Kwame Ankomah OFUMAN Hene and his Nephew Nana Kwame Gyamfi kumanini Chief of Ofuman save Nana Ameyaw Techiman hene as soft Chiefs in Techiman Palace.. It was Dikro Nana Kwame Ankomah's old age Aduana priesthood called Abease people's want to be Chief of Offuman land. Main why, Abease as Aduana priesthood are not royal. They are Chief priest families. It was Otumfour Opoku Ware II time Ofuman Aduana priesthood families turning priesthood to Kingship. Asona Hene of both Offuman and Techiman traditional council came to power during the Gold Coast time. Since Asona Royal didn't have any alliance with Asantihene, Ghana courts didn't show them any favour in their case with Aduana priesthood families of Offuman. It's was Nana Ameyaw Techiman hene who give this land to Asona Royal of Offuman. When Nana Kwame Gyamfi kumanini Chief of Offuman passing away, his nephew Nana Yaw Boahen GYAN became successor to rule as Chief in Offuman.
