Mykhailo Vyshnyvetskyi (Ukrainian: Михайло Михайлович Вишнивецький; born 16 May 2002) is a Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler who competes in the 130 kg weight category. He represents Ukraine internationally and is a member of the Osvita club in Kharkiv Oblast.[1]

Career

Vyshnyvetskyi began competing internationally at a young age. He earned a bronze medal in the 110 kg division at the 2019 European Cadets Wrestling Championships. In 2021, he won silver at the 2021 European Juniors Wrestling Championships held in Dortmund.

His breakout year came in 2022, when he captured gold medals at both the 2022 European U20 Wrestling Championships in Rome and the 2022 World Junior Wrestling Championships in Sofia. Later that year, he took silver at the 2022 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Pontevedra, Spain.[2]

In 2023, Vyshnyvetskyi won gold at the 2023 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Bucharest and finished runner-up at the 2023 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana. He also placed seventh at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships.[3]

Vyshnyvetskyi continued his dominance at the continental level, claiming consecutive gold medals at the 2024 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Baku and the 2025 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Tirana, becoming a three-time U23 European champion.

He is a two-time Ukrainian national champion and holds the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class.
