Mehman Duyeh (Persian: مهماندويه, romanized: Mehmān Dūyeh) is a village in Damankuh Rural District, in the Central District of Damghan County, Semnan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 115, in 39 families.[1]
Geography
[edit]Mehman Duyeh is located in northern Iran, within Semnan Province. It lies in the Damankuh Rural District, in the administrative area of Damghan County.[2]
Recent events
[edit]In April 2025, a gas-poisoning incident at a small, unregistered coal mine near Mehman Duyeh led to the deaths of seven miners. Four were Iranian citizens and three were foreign workers. They all died from carbon monoxide exposure, according to state media.[3][4]
