Mateo Del Blanco (born 31 October 2003) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left back for Unión de Santa Fe in the Argentine Primera División.[1]
Career
[edit]He came through the academy at Union de Santa Fe after joining in 2014 from Corinthians Santa Fe.[2] Progessimg to playing for their youth and academy teams, he trained with the first team in 2022 for the first time, signing his first professional contact later that year.[3][4] He made his first team debut on 11 April 2023 against Argentinos Juniors, in a 5-1 defeat.[5]
Initially a left-sided midfielder, he transitioned into playing as a full-back, whilst still maintaining offensive skills that led to him being credited with a number of assists during the 2025 season, and his first league goal for the club against Gimnasia.[2][6] Having established himself as a regular first team player; in September 2025, he signed a new three-year contract extension with the club.[7]
