Machynlleth Football Club (Welsh: Clwb Pêl Droed Machynlleth) is a Welsh football team based in Machynlleth, Powys, Wales. They play in the Central Wales Southern Division.
History
[edit]Machynlleth played in the 1921–22 FA Cup, losing 7–0 to Chester in the extra preliminary round.[1]
In 2020 they were announced as members of the Ardal Leagues North East, which is in the third tier of the Welsh football league system[2] but withdrew from the league in July 2022 citing lack of player commitment.[3] From the 2022–23 season they instead play in the Central Wales Southern Division.
