"Livin' in the Limelight" is a 1981 song performed by American bassist, singer-songwriter Peter Cetera. The single was released as the debut single of Cetera and from his eponymous album, which was produced by Cetera. The single was released in November 1981 and peaked at No. 6 on the Top Rock Tracks chart in 1982, making it the only song from that album to chart.[2][3] The song features the Toto guitarist Steve Lukather.[4] The song and "On the Line" are the only tracks in the album to not be produced by Jim Boyer.
