List of storms named Wilma
The name Wilma has been used for six tropical cyclones worldwide: three in the Western Pacific Ocean, and one each in the Atlantic Ocean, the Australian region of the Indian Ocean, and the South Pacific Ocean. The name was retired in the Atlantic basin and South Pacific basin.
In the Atlantic:
- Hurricane Wilma (2005), an extremely powerful and destructive Category 5 hurricane that impacted Jamaica, Central America, the Yucatan Peninsula, Cuba, South Florida, Bahamas, and Atlantic Canada
Following the 2005 season, the name Wilma was retired from further use on the rotating Atlantic tropical system naming lists by the World Meteorological Organization in April 2006. The name Wilma was replaced with Whitney for the 2011 season.
In the Western Pacific:
- Typhoon Wilma (1952) (T5219), a Category 5 super typhoon that affected the Philippines and mainland Southeast Asia
- Tropical Depression Wilma (2013) (30W, Wilma), the longest-lived tropical cyclone in 2013; it traversed the Philippines, mainland Southeast Asia, and then the Bay of Bengal before making landfall in India
- Tropical Depression Wilma (2025), tropical depression that made landfall in the Philippines.
In the Australian region:
- Cyclone Wilma (1975), formed in the Arafura Sea and made landfall in the Northern Territory of Australia
In the South Pacific:
- Cyclone Wilma (2011), a Category 4 tropical cyclone that affected the Samoan Islands, Tonga and New Zealand
Following the 2010-11 season, the name Wilma was retired from further use on the South Pacific rotating tropical system naming lists. The name Wilma was replaced with Wano.
