List of current champions in WWE

WWE is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Stamford, Connecticut, and the world's largest promotion. As with other professional wrestling promotions, WWE promotes several championships, with titleholders typically determined via the results of professional wrestling matches within scripted storylines. On rare occasions, a championship may be awarded to or stripped from a wrestler outside of a match, though these occurrences typically also fall within scripted storylines.[a]
WWE currently divides its roster between four brands, and there is also a non-exclusive developmental program. Most wrestlers perform exclusively on a single brand (with select exemptions). WWE's two primary brands are Raw and SmackDown, collectively referred to as the main roster. NXT serves as the primary developmental brand (although it was considered a third main brand from 2019 to 2021),[1] with Evolve geared towards WWE Performance Center trainees, while WWE ID is to support wrestlers on the independent circuit.
There are currently 23 championships in WWE divided across Raw, SmackDown, NXT, Evolve, and WWE ID. Raw and SmackDown each have a primary, secondary, and tag team championship for male wrestlers and a primary and secondary championship for female wrestlers. NXT features a primary, a secondary, two specialty, and a tag team championship for male wrestlers, with a primary, a secondary, and a specialty championship for female wrestlers. There is one women's tag team championship in the company, and it is shared between Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Evolve and WWE ID each feature one championship for their respective men's and women's divisions.
As of November 19, 2025, among the four current brands and the non-exclusive developmental program, 26 wrestlers officially hold championships with one title vacant. This list includes the number of times the wrestler has held the title, the date and location of the win, and a description of the match victory.
Overview
[edit]The American professional wrestling promotion WWE currently divides its roster into what the company refers to as brands. The two main brands that the company promotes are Raw and SmackDown, collectively referred to as the main roster. Wrestlers assigned to the two main brands exclusively perform on the respective weekly television programs, Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, albeit with some exceptions. The Raw brand also has a supplementary online streaming program called Main Event. Monthly pay-per-view and livestreaming events, as well as the non-televised WWE Live shows, feature wrestlers from both brands.
WWE has two developmental brands. The primary developmental brand is NXT, which is where most WWE wrestlers perform prior to being promoted to the main roster.[b] Wrestlers assigned to NXT appear on the brand's eponymous weekly television program and major livestreaming events that are held periodically throughout the year. Evolve is a newer developmental brand, which features mostly newer wrestlers that are still in training at the WWE Performance Center. These wrestlers appear on the weekly Evolve program. Furthermore, there is WWE Independent Development (ID), a developmental program to support wrestlers on the independent circuit and provide a pathway to potentially joining WWE. These wrestlers may also appear on Evolve.
Main roster
[edit]For the men's division, both Raw and SmackDown feature a primary, secondary, and tag team championship, while for the women's division, each brand has a primary and secondary championship. There is also a women's tag team championship shared between both brands as well as NXT.
Men
[edit]At the top of WWE's championship hierarchy for male wrestlers are the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw and the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown—regarded as world heavyweight championships. The World Heavyweight Championship is held by CM Punk, who is in his record-tying second reign. He won the vacant title by defeating Jey Uso at Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1, 2025; previous champion Seth Rollins was stripped of the title due to injury.[2] The Undisputed WWE Championship is held by two-time champion Cody Rhodes, who defeated John Cena in a street fight on Night 2 of SummerSlam on August 3, 2025.[3]
Secondary titles for male wrestlers include the Intercontinental Championship on Raw and the United States Championship on SmackDown. The Intercontinental Championship is held by first-time champion John Cena. He defeated Dominik Mysterio on Raw on November 10, 2025.[4] The United States Championship is held by first-time champion Ilja Dragunov, who defeated Sami Zayn in an open challenge on SmackDown on October 17, 2025.[5]
Tag team titles for male wrestlers include the World Tag Team Championship on Raw and the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown—regarded as world tag team championships. The World Tag Team Championship is held by AJ Styles and Dragon Lee, who are in their first reign as a team, while individually, it is Styles' second reign and Lee's first. They defeated The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh) on Raw on October 20, 2025.[6] The WWE Tag Team Championship is held by first-time champions The Wyatt Sick6 (Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy). They defeated The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) on SmackDown on July 11, 2025.[7]
Women
[edit]At the top of WWE's championship hierarchy for female wrestlers are the Women's World Championship on Raw and the WWE Women's Championship on SmackDown—regarded as women's world championships. The Women's World Championship is held by first-time champion Stephanie Vaquer, who defeated Iyo Sky to win the vacant title at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, 2025; previous champion Naomi relinquished the title due to maternity leave.[8] The WWE Women's Championship is held by first-time champion Jade Cargill, who defeated Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1, 2025.[9]
The secondary titles for female wrestlers are the Women's Intercontinental Championship on Raw and the Women's United States Championship on SmackDown. The Women's Intercontinental Championship is held by first-time champion Maxxine Dupri, who defeated Becky Lynch on Raw on November 17, 2025.[10] The Women's United States Championship is held by record two-time champion Chelsea Green. She defeated Giulia on SmackDown on November 7, 2025.[11]
The tag team title for female wrestlers is the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, which is shared between Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. It is held by The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) from Raw, who are in their third reign as a team, while individually, it is Asuka's fifth reign and Sane's third. They defeated Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair on Raw on November 10, 2025.[12]
Developmental
[edit]For the men's division, NXT features a primary, a secondary, two specialty, and a tag team championship, while the women's division has a primary, a secondary, and a specialty championship. There is also a women's tag team championship shared with Raw and SmackDown (listed above).
Both Evolve and WWE ID each feature one championship for their respective men's and women's divisions.
NXT
[edit]Men
The top title for male wrestlers is the NXT Championship. It is held by first-time champion Ricky Saints, who defeated previous champion Oba Femi at No Mercy on September 27, 2025.[13]
The secondary title for male wrestlers is the NXT North American Championship. It is held by first-time champion Ethan Page, who defeated Ricky Saints on NXT on May 27, 2025. [14]
There are two specialty championships for men: the NXT Heritage Cup and the WWE Speed Championship. The Heritage Cup has a stipulation in which all matches are contested under British Rounds Rules, while matches for the Speed Championship have a five-minute time limit and the title is open to challengers from WWE's other brands, including Evolve and WWE ID, as well as partner promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and sister promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). The Heritage Cup is held by first-time champion Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, who defeated Tony D'Angelo by 2–1 to win the vacant title on NXT on June 24, 2025; previous champion Noam Dar relinquished the title due to injury.[15] The Speed Championship is held by first-time champion Jasper Troy from NXT. He defeated Raw's El Grande Americano on NXT on November 11, 2025.[16]
The men's tag team title is the NXT Tag Team Championship. It is held by DarkState (Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin), who are in their second reign, both as a team and individually. They won the title by defeating previous champions The Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) in a Broken Rules match at Halloween Havoc on October 25, 2025.[17]
Women
The top title for female wrestlers is the NXT Women's Championship. It is held by two-time champion Jacy Jayne, who defeated Tatum Paxley at NXT: Gold Rush – Week 1 on November 18, 2025.[18]
The secondary women's title is the NXT Women's North American Championship. It is held by first-time champion Blake Monroe. She defeated Zaria, who defended the title on behalf of an injured Sol Ruca, at Halloween Havoc on October 25, 2025.[19]
The specialty title is the WWE Women's Speed Championship in which matches have a five-minute time limit and the title is open to challengers from WWE's other brands, including Evolve and WWE ID, as well as partner promotion TNA and sister promotion AAA. As of October 28, 2025[update], the championship is vacant as previous champion Sol Ruca relinquished the title due to injury.[20]
Evolve
[edit]While primarily contested between wrestlers on the Evolve brand, wrestlers in the WWE ID program are also eligible to challenge for the men's and women's Evolve titles.
The men's WWE Evolve Championship is held by Jackson Drake. He defeated Keanu Carver, Edris Enofe, and Sean Legacy, who Drake last eliminated, in a fatal four-way elimination match to become the inaugural champion during the Evolve tapings on April 25, 2025,[21] which aired on tape delay on June 4, 2025.[22]
The WWE Evolve Women's Championship is held by first-time champion Kendal Grey. She defeated Kali Armstrong during the Evolve: Succession taping on September 23, 2025,[23] which aired on tape delay on October 15, 2025.[24]
WWE ID
[edit]Unlike WWE's other championships, which are exclusively defended on WWE's programming, the men's and women's WWE ID titles are exclusively defended across partner independent promotions. Additionally, all independent wrestlers are eligible to challenge for the titles and if a non-WWE ID wrestler were to win either, they receive a WWE ID contract.[25]
The men's WWE ID Championship is held by Cappuccino Jones. He defeated Jack Cartwheel in a tournament final to become the inaugural champion at Game Changer Wrestling's event, The ID Showcase, on August 1, 2025.[26]
The WWE Women's ID Championship is held by first-time champion Laynie Luck. She won the vacant title by defeating Brittnie Brooks, Notorious Mimi, Shannon Levangie, Tiara James, and Airica Demia in a six-woman elimination match at Wrestling Open Rhode Island's event, Wrestling Open RI 33, on November 17, 2025; previous and inaugural champion Kylie Rae relinquished the title due to maternity leave.[27]

[edit]- ^ In some cases, a wrestler may be stripped of a title due to a legitimate injury or other real-world circumstance. On such occasions, the storyline may be adapted around real-world events or may continue without referencing them.
- ^ Some new WWE wrestlers may be immediately assigned to the main roster based on their prior experience and how well they were known outside the company (e.g., AJ Styles).
