  • Augustine Abbey (Idikoko)[1] Augustine Abbey, also known as Idikoko, is a Ghanaian actor and movie maker known for comedy. He is also known for his main roles as a house boy or gate man. He has produced and starred in a BBC documentary and also directed and produced a film on HIV and AIDS in partnership with UNESCO and Esi Sutherland-Addy's MMOFRA Foundation.
  • Ama K. Abebrese[2] (born 1980) With an HPI of 40.95, Ama K. Abebrese is the 4th most famous Ghanaian Actor.  Her biography has been translated into 18 different languages.
  • Mavis Adjei, starred in over 25 films, currently based in the Netherlands[3] She was born in 1968.
  • Psalm Adjeteyfio[4] (1948–2022) Psalm Adjeteyfio, also known as T.T., was a Ghanaian actor who featured in movies and videos. Born in Ghana, then known as Gold Coast, he was best known for the lead character T.T in the Ghanaian TV series Taxi Driver. Before he got into acting, he was a Ga language teacher at the PRESEC staff school. Wikipedia Actor Psalm Nii Adjeteyfio is among the famous Kumawood actors who are dead.   • Adjetey Anang (born in 1973) Adjetey Anang is a Ghanaian actor, popularly known as "Pusher in the series YOLO", which was his screen name in the television series Things We Do for Love. He has featured in many Ghanaian movies, including Deadly Voyage, A Sting in a Tale, The Perfect Picture and others.   • Kofi Adu[6] (Agya Koo) (born 1968) Alexander Kofi Adu, is originally from the Ashanti Region of Ghana but lived in a suburb in Accra Newtown called Asantewaa. He is also known as Agya Koo. He is a Ghanaian actor and a comedian. Wikipedia
  • Freema Agyeman (born 1979), British actor of Ghanaian and Iranian descent
  • Jackie Appiah (born 1983) Jackie Appiah a Canadian-born Ghanaian actress. For her work as an actress, she has received several awards and nominations, including the awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards; and Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2007.   • Mac Jordan Amartey[7] (1936–2018) Mac Jordan Amartey was a popular Ghanaian actor. He was a veteran actor who played major roles in Ghanaian movies. In 2017, he disclosed that he used a prosthetic leg after an amputation as a result of diabetes. Amartey was very popular in a lot of Ghanaian movies including the popular Idikoko TV series.
