  1. ^ Chapter was closed in 2013 for hazing and substance abuse. It reformed as a colony in 2016.
  2. ^ This was the reestablishment of the Gamma Prime chapter which went inactive in 1868. It merged with a Lambda Kappa chapter to form Lambda Kappa-Beta when their two colleges merged as Case Western Reserve University.
  3. ^ This chapter was expelled in 1868. It was reestablished as Beta Second chapter in 1880.

  5. ^ Gamma chapter was founded at Jefferson College in 1842 and merged with Washington College's Nu chapter (founded in 1855) when the two colleges joined as Washington & Jefferson in 1865.
