History
[edit]Kissflow was founded as OrangeScape Technologies Private Limited[6] in 2003 in Chennai[7], India, by Suresh Sambandam.[8][9] According to Forbes, it got $1m in revenue in 2009.[10]
In 2012, the company introduced the Kissflow platform at Google I/O and rebranded its U.S. operations as Kissflow, Inc. after discontinuing its other products and focusing exclusively on Kissflow.[11][12][13] The Indian entity retained its original name, OrangeScape Technologies Pvt. Ltd.[14] Kissflow 2.0 was launched in 2015, introducing a more user-friendly interface compared to the original version.[15][16]
Reviews
[edit]Kissflow’s platform is primarily used for low-code and no-code application development, workflow automation, and business process management without requiring deep technical expertise.[17][18][19][20][12][15]
It was recognized as a Strong Performer in the Q1 2024 edition of Forrester Research on Low-Code Platforms for Citizen Developers. Kissflow scored 5/5 in the Roadmap category and 4.5/5 in Developer Experience.[21][22]
