2002 studio album by Devin the Dude
Just Tryin' ta Live is the second solo studio album by American rapper Devin the Dude. It was released on August 27, 2002 via Rap-A-Lot Records.[5] Recording sessions took place at Coughee Pot Studio and Hippie House Studios in Houston, Enterprise Studios in Burbank, Larrabee Studio in Hollywood and Record One in Sherman Oaks. Production was handled by Rob Quest, Michael "Domo" Poye, Mike Dean, David Banner, DJ Premier, DJ Styles, Dr. Dre, Luster Baker, Raphael Saadiq, T-Mix, and Devin the Dude himself. It features guest appearances from Odd Squad, Nas, Poo Bear, Raphael Saadiq and Xzibit. In the United States, the album peaked at number 61 on the Billboard 200 and number 11 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
