Career

[edit]

Legislative Influences

[edit]

Since 2018, Notter has attended over a dozen conferences sponsored by "climate skeptic" groups[7] including Heartland Institute,[8] Americans for Prosperity,[9] and ALEC[10] on trips fully paid for by those organizations totaling over $24,000.[11] Her legislative priorities and testimony in hearings as a member of the House Committee on Science, Technology and Energy reflect the influence of those fossil fuel industry-funded groups[12] and her rejection of the scientific consensus on global warming from greenhouse gas pollution from fossil fuels,[13] and ignore New Hampshire climate science experts' recommendations for science-based policy.[14]
