Jaime Yvonne VandenBerg (born on 18 November 1996) is a Canadian actress, international model, philanthropist and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Universe Canada 2025.[2][3] She represented Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant held in Thailand.[4]
Biography
[edit]VandenBerg spent much of her childhood in Coaldale, where she attended primary school before graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, concentrating in legal reasoning. Her academic journey led her to write the LSAT and recently apply to Law School. Driven by a desire to help others, her philanthropic efforts began at a young age.[5][6]
Early life
[edit]In 2021, after surviving gender-based violence in Colombia, she launched Pico for a Purpose, climbing Mexico's highest peak to raise funds for women's shelters in Canada and Mexico. She received the Diana Award in recognition of her advocacy.[7]
In 2022, she co-founded Canadian Herstory, a non-profit focused on Canadian women's history, and received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for her community work.[7][8]

Miss Earth
[edit]VandenBerg withdrew from the Miss Earth 2018 pageant, citing sexual harassment during the competition.[9][10][11]
Miss World
[edit]On 3 October, 2021, in Vaughan, Ontario, VandenBerg was crowned Miss World Canada 2021, and went on to represent Canada at Miss World 2023, where she placed among the Top 40 finalists.[12][13][14][15]
Miss Universe
[edit]On 9 August, 2025, in Windsor, Ontario, VandenBerg crowned Miss Universe Canada 2025.[16] She represented Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 competition, and finished in top 30.[17][18]
Prior to winning the title, she had previously competed in the Miss Universe Canada pageant twice, first in 2015 and again in 2020.[19][20][21]
