The company was founded in 2015 by Leslie Cottenjé,[8][9][10] Bram De Vos[11] and Joeri Pansaerts[12][13] and is headquartered in Ghent, Belgium.[14][15]

Bram De Vos is the CEO of Hello Customer.[16]

Hello Customer completed an investment round of €2 million in 2018.[17] In 2020, the company raised an additional €6 million in funding.[17][18]

Hello Customer was awarded the digital category in 2020 and 2021 and was among the Deloitte's Fast 50 contenders.[19]
