Hell's Paradise is an anime television series based on Yuji Kaku's manga of the same name. The anime series was first announced by Crunchyroll in November 2022.[1] After the airing of the thirteenth episode, a second season was announced.[2][3] The season will be produced by Twin Engine and MAPPA and Kaori Makita is set to be the director, with a new character designer Akitsugu Hisagi, and Yoshiaki Dewa [ja] returning as the composer.[4] The story follows ninja Gabimaru and the executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri as they search for the elixir of life.[1]

The second season is set to premiere on January 11, 2026, with the cast and staff from the first season returning to reprise their roles.[5][4][6] It is set to adapt the manga's "Lord Tensen" and "Hōrai" story arcs.[7]

Crunchyroll has licensed the season outside of Asia as it airs.[4]
