Haplocauda aculeata is a species of beetle of the family Lampyridae. It is found in Brazil (Amazonas).

Etymology

Aculeata is a Latin adjective meaning sting-bearing and refers to the prominent median projection of sternum VIII on the male abdomen.[1]
