Gowijeh Qaleh (Persian: گويجه قلعه)^[a] is a village in Charuymaq-e Jonubegharbi Rural District^[4] of the Central District in Charuymaq County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 709 in 134 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 691 people in 178 households.^[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 534 people in 172 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
