Geča (Hungarian: Hernádgecse) is a village and municipality in Košice-okolie District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia. As of 2022, it has a population of about 1862 people.[4]
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1255.[5]
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 181 metres (594 ft)[2] and covers an area of 5.48 km2 (2.12 sq mi) (2024).[6]
