[edit]Rhodococcus sp. strain Q1, grown on quinoline. Scanning electron micrograph of fixed cells. The bacterium is able to grow on quinoline as a sole source of carbon, nitrogen and energy at concentrations up to 3.9 millimoles per liter.[1]
