Caption: "Milson's Point Station, Sydney, on the day of closing". Extract from text: "... from the camera of Mr. H. Marks. ... the site of the platforms is now occupied by the vast abutments of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, in preparation for which demolition of the station is already underway. Prior to the opening of the bridge, ferry-steamers, one of which is seen in the foreground, carried passengers from the trains across the harbour to Sydney." (ibid., p. 445).
