The Epstein scandal (also known as the Epstein saga, Epstein affair, and Epsteingate) involves the political controversy and fallout of the sexual offenses of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, especially regarding his personal and professional relations with prominent individuals.[1][2][3] The website Vox identified three layers of the scandal: Epstein's sexual predation against underage women; his alleged trafficking of women to prominent men; and "hazier, wilder theories" involving blackmail, murder, and a client list.[4]
