The main reasons that Dot Bucher is no longer associated with the past or present of Underground Comix online are for the following reasons:(1.)Various members of underground comix have stolen her copy-righted comix and tried to sell them under their own name and business venture. (2.)Various members of Wimmen's Comics have done "behavior that is not "good" and some of it is not even legal, but there is no police for the internet. (3.) Dot Bucher was treated badly by people employed, employers, prospective employers, and writers and artists of Underground comix, (and "so-called friends") and she does not want to have anything to do with any of them, even in history online. (4.) "Dot Bucher" no longer exists under that name,. but under her husbands' and family business's name, and cannot be contacted in any way under "Dot Bucher."--Not even if there are people online who pretend to have the name "Dot Bucher".They are "other " Dot Buchers and have no relation to the "Dot Bucher" who wrote-drew,and published artwork ,stories,and comics for "Underground Comix": mostly during the 1970s'-1980's. (5.) The original "Dot Bucher" considers the years she did stories and artwork for Underground Comix to be "unfortunate episodes" and when she went into another field, that those were her very best works. ---and does not want to be reminded of "Underground Comics". (That does not mean she wants her original copyrights to be broken and stolen,nevertheless--altho that has happened.) (6.) For all those reasons and that all traces of "Dot Buchers' artwork and stories": AND any quotes as to the effectiveness of her art and stories, have vanished, mostly, off the Web, Dot Bucher and the name "Dot Bucher" are not associated with "Underground Comix:" or persons publishing, or selling, or "pretending to have known personally Dot Bucher, the Original," from this date, 6/11/2025
There are no replies to this article because former "Dot Bucher"refuses to be associated with or be contacted by any persons associated with "Underground Comics" or "child-pornography" or "Adult-pornography" ---none of these fields.
