Over the last 25 years Warwick Control have become established as experts in electronic networking in both Automotive and Marine technology. CAN software X-Analyser has been at the heart of this journey..

Their flagship product, the X-Analyser is a powerful, low cost Windows based tool that uses Kvaser [5]or Vector interfaces to test your CAN/CAN FD/CANopen/J1939/NMEA2000/DeviceNet and LIN bus systems. It can also be used for testing SENT devices using a specialised SENT/CAN gateway developed by Mach Systems[6]. a company from Czech Republic.

The journey of this company began as a million student projects do.

  • Warwick Control Technologies Ltd[1]Officially started in 1999 as a spin off from the University of Warwick[7]
  • Launch CAN bus analyser product (X-Analyser) in year 2000
  • Expanded distribution network worldwide in 2002 saw it original four members Richard Mclaughlin, Kiah Hion Tang & Andy Roxburgh. including current Director Chris Quigley[8] begin a global journey[9]
  • Expanded CAN portfolio into marine industry using NMEA 2000 in 2015[10]
  • Became involved in improved the cybersecurity of maritime controls from 2022 Cybersecurity[11]
  • Released X-Analyser v3.13 in 2025
