Vera Danilina (born 1999, Penza, Russia) is a Russian and international classical guitarist, teacher, and laureate of numerous prestigious international competitions.

Early life

Vera Danilina was born in Penza, Russia, in 1999. Vera began studying guitar at the age of 5 under the guidance of Olga Odrina.

At the age of 7, she first met Professor Vladimir Mityakov, and at 11, Vera began regularly attending his masterclasses.

In 2015, Vera enrolled at the M.A. Balakirev Music College in Nizhny Novgorod, officially becoming a student of Vladimir Mityakov.

From 2019 to 2023, Vera continued her education at the M.I. Glinka State Conservatory, where she achieved significant successes in international competitions and performed with orchestras.

In 2023, she moved to Paris to further her education at the Regional Conservatory of Paris (CRR) under the mentorship of Jérémy Jouve.

Professional Activities :

2022

After winning the “Michele Pittaluga” International Classical Guitar Competition.[1] in Italy, Vera performed a series of solo concerts in prestigious Italian venues.

2023

She performed at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow during the “Guitar Virtuosos” festival and toured France as part of a concert series organized by Amis des Jeunes Artistes Musiciens (AJAM)[2].

2024

She joined the jury of the 6th International Guitar Festival in Béarn (France)[3]. She is an artist endorsed by Altamira Guitars[4], Savarez[5], and Nevaton.

Since 2023, Vera has been involved in the creation of a documentary titled “Vera Venezia”[6], directed by Lilia Timirzyanova.
