Gorsy Khel (گورسی خیل) is a sub-tribe of the Utmankhel Pashtun tribe. They belong to the Utmankhel tribe and follow Pashtun traditions and customs.
The Utmankhel (Pashto: اتمانخېل, Urdu: اتمان خیل) are a Pashtun tribe. They mostly live in Pakistan, and many also live in Afghanistan. Their area is between the Mohmand and Ranizai tribes of Swat, near where the Swat and Panjkora rivers meet.
Most Utmankhel people live in Malakand, Bajaur, Mohmand, Lower Dir, Mardan, and Orakzai. They are Pashtuns from the Karlani tribal confederacy. In history, they fought against the Mughal and British empires in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The British called the Utmankhel a warlike tribe and included them among the Martial Races. Utmankhel people are usually tall and strong. Their dress and customs are similar to the people of Bajaur.
They speak a Pashto dialect known as Peshawari Pashto.
