On the night of June 21, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that U.S. military aircraft—believed to include B‑2 Spirit stealth bombers armed with heavy “bunker-buster” munitions—carried out precision airstrikes on three of Iran’s primary nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan This marked the first direct U.S. military strike on Iranian territory. Fordow was identified as the "primary site" and reportedly received a full payload of bombs
