Syed Nasim Manzur was born into a prominent business family in Bangladesh. He is the son of Syed Manzur Elahi, a well-known industrialist and former advisor to the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh.[1]

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, earning a degree from the Wharton School in Economics and Entrepreneurial Management.[2]

Nasim Manzur joined Apex Footwear Ltd. in the 1990s and became its Managing Director in 1999. Under his leadership, the company expanded its global footprint and became one of the largest footwear exporters in South Asia. Apex exports to more than 50 countries and operates extensive retail networks across Bangladesh.

Manzur has emphasized quality, compliance, and sustainable practices in the leather goods manufacturing process. He has played a key role in aligning the company with international labor and environmental standards.
