Controversy

[edit]

In June 2016, The KSRTC[a] sent a notice to Bhakthan for using "ksrtcblog.com" domain as "unauthorised usage of trademark". Experts have opined that the operation of the website has been protected by the right to free speech under Article 19 of the Constitution[b] and later the KSRTC itself allowed the operation of the website.[4][5][6][7].

In October 2023, some people from Kerala complained to Cuban Ambassador in India based on Bhakthan’s Cuba travel video.[8] The complaint stated that he insulted the communist country. Later Bhakthan responded that he emphasized that he did not intend to create controversy and has no political agenda.[9]
