KSB

[edit]
Timmermann was appointed Group CEO (Vorstandssprecher) of KSB with effect from 13 November 2017.[1] National business press has since covered KSB’s strategic repositioning and performance under his leadership. In March 2022, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported on the company’s improved outlook and quoted Timmermann’s ambition to move “away from mediocrity”.[7] In March 2024, the paper noted that “the times of hidden champions are over” for the more than 150-year-old manufacturer, citing Timmermann on structural demand across energy and water infrastructure.[8]

KSB’s preferred shares were admitted to the SDAX in December 2023 following a regular index review by Deutsche Börse; regional and financial media covered the inclusion.[9][10]

In 2024–2025, national and wire outlets reported record results and continued progress, with Timmermann emphasizing diversification and service growth.[11][12][13]

KSB also announced an investment programme to modernise and expand its Eta-pump production at the Frankenthal headquarters; independent coverage described a €60 million plan through 2029.[14][15]

Regional media covered the company’s handling of a cyberattack in 2022, including an interview with Timmermann on incident response.[16]
