Shankar Prasad (born c. 1967) is an Indian politician from Bihar, representing the **Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)**. He was elected as the Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the **Paroo** constituency in the **2025 assembly elections**.

According to his 2025 election affidavit, Prasad is **58 years old**.[1] He holds a graduate-level education, and lists his profession as *agriculture, business, and social work*.[1] He declared total assets worth approximately **₹ 2.6 crore**, and liabilities of about **₹ 24.4 lakh**.[1] There are reported to be **two criminal cases** registered against him in his affidavit. In the November 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, Prasad contested from the Paroo constituency on an RJD ticket. [2] He won the election with **95,272 votes**, defeating Madan Chaudhary of the Rashtriya Lok Morcha, who secured 66,445 votes.
