Comment: Draft is not sufficiently cited. WP:RS. Content is also insufficient, suggest draft more broadly according to WP:MOS. Pegnawl (talk) 01:02, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

Seat Maker is a mobile application for iOS and iPadOS used to design seating plans for events and share layouts digitally. The app was developed by student programmer Austin Frankel and introduced in mid-2025. Coverage in regional media has described its drag-and-drop layout tools and options for sharing plans. [1][2]
Development and release
[edit]Local reporting identifies Frankel as the app’s developer and outlines the project’s origins and build process during high school. [1] News 12 reported that the app became available for download via the Apple App Store in early September coverage. [2] The App Store listing shows an initial release dated July 2025. [3]
Features
[edit]Media descriptions and an editorial review note that users can create table layouts, import guests from contacts or CSV, drag and drop guests into seats, and export or share plans (including by QR code). [1][2][4]
Reception
[edit]In late August and early September 2025, regional outlets covered the app’s launch and use cases, including profiles and interviews. [1][5] Additional local coverage appeared in Talk of the Sound. [6]
