Scale Up (stylized as scale up) is a German business coaching and consulting company based in Munich.[1] It specializes in adapting Verne Harnish’s Scaling Up framework for startups and small-to-medium enterprises in European countries.[2]
History
[edit]scale up's formation followed Nikolai Ladanyi becoming the first German-speaking coach in the Gazelles (Scaling Up) methodology in 2011. scale up was co-founded by Ladanyi and Ralph Chromik in 2012, the same year the German edition of Mastering the Rockefeller Habits (Wachstum durch Führung), co-edited by Ladanyi, was published.[3][4][5]
In 2016, scale up published the German edition of Verne Harnish's book Scaling Up.[6] That year, scale up also launched the annual Berlin ScaleUp Summit in partnership with Deutsche Bank.[7][8][9] The firm has since expanded its programs to other European countries, including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and France.[10]
Methodology
[edit]scale up provides coaching and training through workshops, in-house coaching for management teams, and online courses.[11] Its methodology is based on Verne Harnish's Scaling Up framework, which focuses on four key areas: people, strategy, execution, and cash.[12][13] The firm guides clients in implementing tools such as the Growth Canvas based on the One Page Strategic Plan from the book Scaling Up by Verne Harnish and establishing structured meeting schedules.[14]
