Samuel Dunbar Hewlett (YEAR – December 31, 1965)[1] was a justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia in 1942.

"Born in Barnwell, South Carolina, Hewlett fought in the Spanish–American War and attended the University of Georgia before starting to practice law in Atlanta in 1901".[1]

Samuel D. Hewlett Jr. also became a lawyer in Atlanta. He and his wife died in a small plane crash in the Everglades of Florida in 1968.[2] Samuel Hewlett the third also became a lawyer before switching to homebuilding.[3]
